Innovative,
Efficient and Beautiful Cooling Solutions!
Radiant with Partial Hi-V
One option is to
use Radiant Heat as well as Radiant Cooling.
This entails circulating warm water for heating as well as
chilled water as cooling medium. Depending on geography and
site conditions, 50% to 70% of the heat load can be handled
in this manner. The rest is handled by a small High
Velocity Air System which removes moisture from the air,
and aids in cooling. The result is a quiet, healthful,
efficient and and unobtrusive system. It is 100% hydronic
based. An ultra high efficiency boiler handles heating as
well as domestic hot water production.
A high efficiency chiller handles cooling. The chiller can
be mounted a great distance from the home, if desired. No
refrigerant is housed or circulated anywhere in the home.
Chilled water does it all.
Combined Radiant and
Hi-V
Another option
is to use Radiant Heating with a more comprehensive Hi-V
system.
Perhaps you would like to have Radiant Heat in a portion of
the house, but would like to use warm and cool air
elsewhere?
Hi-V gives you tremendous versatility. You already have a
state-of-the-art high efficiency boiler handling Radiant
warming and making domestic hot water at very high
efficiency.
Take advantage of it!
Other areas of the house can also use the boiler water for
heating via a fan coil located in a mechanical area.
Cooling can be done with a chiller or traditional AC
condensor. Geothermal and other kinds of Heat Pumps are
also an option.
Why Hi-V?
